About Mrs. Falk...

I am originally from Southern California. I grew up in a small town called Agua Dulce, which is an hour north of downtown L.A. I moved to Northern California to go to UC Davis (Go Ags!), where I received a B.S. in Zoology.  I moved to San Francisco to earn my teaching credential from San Francisco State. I recently earned my Master's Degree in Online Teaching and Learning through CSU East Bay. This is my eighth year of teaching at Mercy.  Before teaching at Mercy, I taught 8th grade science in Union City.

I have now lived in San Francisco for over nine years - and I love it! In my free time I like to watch movies, go for walks in the city, do yoga and Pilates, travel (both near and far), cook (and eat), do crafts, and go shopping (uh oh!). I love all animals and the great outdoors. My favorite TV shows are CSI, Project Runway and Lost. I also love reality TV. My husband is always rolling his eyes at me when I have it on because he despises it. My favorite band is U2. My favorite sports teams are the Giants and the 49er's (but they will never be the same without my beloved Steve Young!). Finally, I love science, and I am proud to call myself a nerd, because nerds are cool!
